I originally bought it because I thought it was cute.
I didn't realize that it would provide
just the right words of comfort and encouragement,
I'd need on more than one occasion in my life.
[My scanner is in storage, so I had to improvise
and take pictures of the pages with my camera.
Which is why they're not the best.]
It hasn't been easy...
and it's hard to not look back...
so this was a good reminder for me
of the sweet things I'd been told
by so many friends and blessings I received
that were starting to fade from my memory.
So grateful for that.
