Just as we got to the gate, which was blocked off
by a fire engine and ambulance,
we got a text from my brother Todd,
who wanted to know if we wanted to go visit his work today.
A park ranger approached our car and told us that it was $10.00
to get into the park...so we turned around and went to visit
Todd's work instead.
But, before we did, we stopped to take a few pictures
of some horses that we had passed along the way.
My brother works at Evergreen Cemetery in Oakland.
[He does the cremating there.]
Which is why I didn't take any pictures.
Before heading home, we made another stop in Oakland.
We saw the Farmer's Insurance Airship flying around the city
View of Oakland and beyond to San Francisco.

So, while the day didn't originally go as planned,
it ended up being a wonderful day!
